Sikeston BMU to give $50 rebate for two months
SIKESTON — Sikeston residents and small businesses will be paying a little less for their electricity.
The Sikeston Board of Municipal Utilities Board approved a $50 month rebate for all residential and small general service customers credited on their next two month bills at a special meeting Wednesday morning.
“Each day brings new concerns and opportunities to BMU during this world health pandemic,” said BMU in a statement. “As always, our top priority is to provide safe, reliable, quality service and care to our customers. We understand the uncertainty and stress many of our customers are experiencing.”
BMU encourages residents to pay their electric, water and sewer bills to avoid having a high balance once the COVID-19 pandemic is over. Customers faced with difficult financial situations should call a BMU Customer Service Representatives at (573) 471-3328
