God is hearing our prayers

Friday, April 10, 2020

When I was a small child we were floating on the Current River. We stopped to take a lunch break on one of the sandy areas. I was playing in the water, while the adults were talking and suddenly something happened.

I noticed when I went under the water; I came up several feet from where I went under. Suddenly, I realized why that river had its name as I was being swept away. I screamed, my dad came running and pulled me to shore. That day I was so thankful that I have a father that heard me.

During this time of danger and confusion, there is a heavenly Father that will hear our prayers. Hebrews 4:16 tells Christians to go to God in times of need.

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” The greatest blessing is that God will meet our needs as we call out to Him. Today, in this crisis, go to God!
