Missouri Secretary of State John R. “Jay” Ashcroft hand-delivered personal protection equipment to Scott County Clerk Rita Milam Wednesday at the Scott County Courthouse in Benton. Ashcroft’s delivery included hand sanitizer, face masks, face shields, social distancing reminder posters and sticker floor strips to be used at precincts in the upcoming June 2 municipal election. He also gave Milam a bottle of Helping Hands hand sanitizer which was made by Holladay Distillery in Weston, Mo. Aschcroft spent Wednesday delivering PPE to county clerks throughout Southeast Missouri.
