Don Fletcher Sr.

LANSING, Mich. — Don Duran Fletcher Sr., 58, formerly of Sikeston, Missouri, died June 12, 2020, at his daughter’s home in Charleston, Missouri.

Born Feb. 12, 1962, in Sikeston, son of the late Joseph Lee and Minnie B. Barnhill Fletcher Sr., he was of the Baptist belief and attended Sikeston Public Schools. He was employed as a laundry attendant at a nursing home in Jonesboro and was an auto mechanic.

His wife, Diane Scott Fletcher, survives.

Other survivors include: three sons, Marcus Fletcher of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Don Fletcher Jr. of Sikeston and Dasmone Fletcher of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; one daughter, Cora Howard (Otis Haynes, Sr.) of Charleston; three brothers, Johnny Fletcher and Larry Fletcher of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Joseph Fletcher Jr. of Lansing; seven sisters, JoAnn Fletcher and Regina Gibbs of Sikeston, Carolyn Fletcher, Bettie Fletcher and Sherry Timmons of Jonesboro, Pamela Johnson of Lansing and Melissa Fletcher of Detroit, Michigan; one stepson, Christopher Howard of Sikeston; three stepdaughters, Chaka Howard of Sikeston and Tekila Woods and LaTosha Woods of Jonesboro; and 10 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Fletcher.

A walk-through visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at noon Saturday at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston. All attendees are asked to honor social distancing rules and wear a face mask.
