Scott County with 13 more coronavirus cases Wednesday

The Scott County Health Department reported 13 additional positive cases of COVID-19 late Wednesday afternoon along two more recoveries.

To date, Scott County has had 361 positive cases since the coronavirus pandemic began in March. There are currently 74 active cases with 13 deaths related to the virus reported.

The New Madrid County Health Department reported one additional case on Wednesday afternoon, giving the county 204 confirmed cases since the pandemic began. There are 45 active cases, three fewer than Tuesday, and two deaths reported.

The Stoddard County Public Health Center also reported one additional case Wednesday afternoon, giving the county 218 positive cases since March with 27 active. There have been nine deaths related to the coronavirus.

According the Missouri Department of Corrections reported an additional staff member at the Southeast Correctional Center in Charleston has tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member is the 21st positive test with 19 having recovered. There have been 47 inmates test positive with one case still active.

There were eight additional cases reported by the Dunklin County Health Department Wednesday afternoon, giving the county 265 cases.

There are currently 61 of those cases active with four deaths reported.

The Pemiscot County Health Department reported their ninth death related to COVID-19 on Wednesday afternoon along with five additional positive cases.

The county has 225 total cases since March with 30 currently active and two residents hospitalized.

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported 1,241 additional cases on Wednesday with seven more deaths. To date there have been 55,321 positive cases with 1,273 deaths.
