Nancy Long
NEW MADRID, Mo. — Nancy Patterson Long, 69, of New Madrid, passed away Nov. 16, 2020, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
She was born Dec. 19, 1950, in Parma, Missouri, to the late Pat Patterson and Gertrude Boyd Patterson. On Nov. 24, 1969, in Marston, Missouri, she was united in marriage to James David Long, who survives of the home.
In addition to her husband James, she is survived by three children, Tosha (husband, Jerry) Shaw of Parma, Christal Austin (Tom Acord) of New Madrid, James David (wife, Heather) Long Jr.; seven grandchildren, James David Long, III, Madison Long, Caleb Austin, Kayleigh Austin, Taylor Shaw, Clara Wilkerson and Summer Bickford; one great-grandchild, August Wilkerson.
Visitation was from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Thursday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid.
