Priday, James recognized as Students of the Month

SIKESTON — Lee Hunter Elementary fourth graders Addison Priday and Brady James. were recognized as the Students of the Month for March during the March 9 Sikeston R-6 Board of Education meeting.

“Addison was chosen as Lee Hunter’s Student of the Month because of her excellent character and work ethic,” Board President Glenn Cantrell said. “Addison is kind and caring to everyone she meets. She puts her heart into everything she does. She truly exemplifies excellent character. She is responsible, hardworking, conscientious, and genuine.”

Addison has also maintained outstanding academic grades during her time at Lee Hunter Elementary.

“Though Brady has not spent his entire elementary schooling here at Lee Hunter, his level of integrity, respectfulness and work ethic have made him stand out above the crowd,” Cantrell said.

“He is competitive while always maintaining compassion and respect for others. He is dependable and helpful to both his fellow students as well as his teachers.”

In February, two students at the Sikeston Kindergarten Center were recognized as Students of the Month. Samira Winson and Landon Lewer were both recognized by Dr. Tony Robinson, Sikeston R-6 Superintendent, pictured above.
