Candidate forum held

Christina McWaters, executive director of the New Madrid Chamber of Commerce, and moderator Aaron Griffin explain the format of the forum for the New Madrid County R-1 School Board candidates. The Chamber hosted the Tuesday night forum to enable the candidates to offer insight into their views on issues and how they would fill their role if elected on April 6. Seated from left are board candidates, Mary Kay Davis, Dee Moore and Jeff Polk. The forum can also be viewed on the Chamber's Facebook page. Also a second forum was hosted Thursday night by the Chamber for the two candidates seeking the post of New Madrid's Ward 2 alderman.
