Speak out about Dicamba

Anyone that is experiencing oak trees that have curling edges on the leaves, shrubs that are dying — all this is caused by Dicamba that our farmers are using. Everyone needs to speak out about this chemical that is being done to kill trees and our shrubs. Thank you.

Sikeston is going to be ghost town

I was just wondering who was going to be the last person turning off the lights in the City of Sikeston because this town is going to dry up and go away like Morehouse and Charleston and East Prairie. Our utility rates are getting outrageous but they’ve got a golf course they’ve got to pay for. For the rich people, they want it. Out of towners are laughing at this community. They’ll shut your power off if you owe 10 bucks. Now they want to say where you can park, where you can landscape, how tall a fence you can put in your yard. All this stuff. Taxes in Sikeston are higher than the taxes in Cape. Cape is thriving. Sikeston is going to be a ghost town before too long. City council needs to think about the common folks, not the powers that be.
