Glad Biden is bringing them home

Joe Biden is the first president in two decades who has had the guts to bring the corrupt and hopeless war in Afghanistan to an end. I’m glad he did it and so is the majority of the American people. We have wasted way to much in blood and treasure in a vast wasteland with people who live in a prehistoric age.

Biden and Trump actually agreed on this. Trump worked out a deal with the Taliban to pull US troops out by May 1. Biden extended the deadline to September to give more time to evacuate U.S. civilians as well as Afghan interpreters and others who helped the U.S. war effort.
