FARRENBURG, Mo. — Johnny Herman Maxwell, 85, passed away Sept. 3, 2021, at his home,
He was born Jan. 11, 1936, in Lost Corner, Arkansas, to the late William Galloway and Bertha Jane Westernman Maxwell. He was married to Norma Joyce Maxwell, who preceded him in death.
Herman was a lifelong farmer in the Farrenburg community.
Survivors include: daughters, Belinda Nelson and George Dawson, Farrenburg, Pamela Kay Maxwell, St. James, Missouri; grandchildren, Brandy and Brandon Barnes, Michele and Chris Marcee, Michael and Sonja Cox, Megan Clark, Dustin and Breanna Hanner, 13 great-grandchildren; special friend, Bonnie Felker.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7 at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid with James Turk officiating.
Burial will follow in the Matthews City Cemetery.
