Kelly band has big day

The Kelly High School Marching Band had a big day at the Murphysboro Applefest on Saturday, bringing home plenty of hardware. The band placed third in the Grand Parade and placed first in drums at the Appletime Field Competition with awards for Best Drum Major, Best Auxiliary, Outstanding Visual and Best Music Performance.
