Mable Anderson
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Mable Anderson, 71, formerly of Sikeston, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022, at her home in Nashville surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born Feb. 25, 1951, in Swan Lake, Mississippi, to the late Ollie Mae Starnes and Alec Herron.
Mable married the late Albert Anderson Aug. 5, 1977.
She was the mother of nine children.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lena Mae Anderson; sister, Annie Mae Johnson; and brother, Randle Lewis.
She is survived by five daughters, Colleen Lewis, Daphne (Alaric) Green, Dionne Lewis, Carla (James) Pratt, Lisa Kibii; three sons, Stephen Anderson, Darnell Moon, Keith Moon; three sisters, Gloria (Robert) Ellis, Queen Esther Starnes, Jean (Arthur) Robinson; one brother, James (Robin) Herron; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
