Isiah Fitzgerald

SIKESTON — Isiah Craig Fitzgerald, 18, died Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born May 17, 2004, at Memphis, Tennessee, to Craig Aundre’ Fitzgerald and Shanna Nicole Abner, he had lived most of his life in Scott County where he was a 2022 graduate of Scott County Central High School.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his brothers and sisters, Malaki, Levi, Karson, Nyisha and Deshee; his grandmothers, Janet Abner and Christine Fitzgerald; his furbaby, “Layla Bug,” as well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Craig A. Fitzgerald Sr. and Leland Mims.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at noon Sunday, May 7, 2023, at the Scott County Central High School gymnasium.

Interment will follow in the New Morley Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
