Speakout
(Opinion ~ 07/12/23)
I really think the City of Sikeston should offer a sincere apology to the State of Indiana Highway Patrol for the horrible accident that was caused by two idiots from Sikeston that took the life of a five-year veteran highway patrolmen when they ran him over and killed him to avoid getting caught for auto theft this week. It never ceases to amaze me when an individual commits a crime that might be a five- to 10-year sentence when they get caught, and they do something totally wrong and goes haywire and somebody innocent gets killed … where if they stop and admit they made a mistake and get off with a light sentence. Instead, they do something stupid; someone dies, and their simple charge and five years goes to life without parole.
