The city of Sikeston honored the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday with a motorcade and program at the Green Memorial Church of God in Christ.

In honor of her community service Mayola Nabors received a gift from Dr. Maude Harris. Nabors is active with the Willing Working Women ministry.

A "Key to City" was presented to King Day committee member and Return to Sunset Committee member Everlean Brown by Dr. Maude Harris.
