The Traveling Wall stops in New Madrid

New Madrid County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7183 hosted The Traveling Wall, a replica of the Vietnam Memorial, in New Madrid May 7 through 10.

Accompanied by the VFW Riders and Legion Riders, The Traveling Wall arrived in New Madrid on May 6.

The morning of May 7 volunteers gathered at the Scott Street Park to erect The Traveling Wall and a tent. The grounds were staffed around the clock to enable visitors to come day or night.
