Some 800 elementary students from across the New Madrid County R-1 School District took part in a trunk-or-treat at the New Madrid Elementary School on Friday morning.

Characters of all kinds appeared at the sixth annual Trunk-or-Treat at the New Madrid Elementary School. While many children opted to dress as princesses and cartoon characters, others opted for more scary looks of skeltons and devils. Some took on the roles of soldiers or police officers and one little girl dressed as the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg,

Students from New Madrid County Central High School were among those participating in the New Madrid Elementary School's sixth annual Trunk-or-Treat Friday at the School. Students from New Madrid Elementary, Lilbourn Elementary, Matthews Elementary and Immaculate Conception Catholic School were treated to candy and other goodies.
