Sikeston Department of Public Safety Sgt. Todd Irwin instructs personnel how to continue fighting a fire at a house at 817 Anderson on Tuesday morning. DPS was alerted to the blaze at 11:09 a.m. and firefighters found heavy smoke on the scene when they arrived. Within 10 minutes, the fire was under control and property loss stopped.
