One removed from early morning fire

Firefighters work the scene of a fire at 808 David Lane this morning. One person was removed from the house and transported to a local hospital, said Miner Police Chief Roger Moore, however there were no reports on the injuries as of press time. The fire was called in at 7:53 a.m. by a neighborhood resident, who noticed smoke while driving past the home, then reportedly banged on the door while another person called 911. Woman dies as a result of morning fire

MINER - A woman died as the result of a fire Tuesday morning at her home. Scott County Coroner Scott Amick said Donna J. Gerhardt, 47, was pronounced dead at Missouri Delta Medical Center at 8:43 am. Tuesday. According to Amick, fire personnel were able to remove Garhardt from her residence at 808 David Lane. Emergency personnel then attempted to stabilize Garhardt at the scene before transporting her to Missouri Delta Medical Center...
