Balance is needed to inform the public
(Editorial ~ 09/01/18)
I came into the office this morning, like so many others, and started my daily reading of newspapers and web sites to catch up on the overnight happenings. Thus is my morning routine. One of the first headlines that captured my attention was the ďrevelationĒ that the Presidentís disapproval rating was at an all-time high. Given the daily drumbeat of opposition to this administration from the national media, I was not surprised. But lo and behold, another headline in another publication trumpeted the Presidentís highest approval rating since taking office.

I would truly like for the person who put ďTrump turned his back on AmericaĒ in Speakout, it appeared in the Wednesday, Aug. 8 paper, who said he is doing a miserable thing and turned his back on America and should be ashamed. I would truly like to know how Trump turned his back on America. When you look at all of his accomplishments, I donít see a back turning at all. I see a forward movement for the United States with the exception of getting rid of illegal immigrants, Iím totally for that. If you canít come here legally, donít come. If thatís what your talking about, you need to move to one of those countries that they all come from if you are so in love with them. Thank you.
