DEXTER, Mo. — Alvin Metz of Dexter, 91, died April 13, 2019, at Southeas Missouri Hospital in Cape Giradeau. Born May 24, 1927, in Parma, son of the late James Edgar and Laura Oralie Bascom Metz, he had lived in Paragould, Ark., and the last 30 years in Dexter.
