    MATTHEWS, Mo. — The Rev. Donald Ray Heitman, 86, died May 3, 2020, at his home in Matthews. Born Sept. 12, 1933, at St. Louis, son of the late Clarence Heitman and Thelma Jones Heitman, he served in the United States Navy after high school. In July 1961, he was ordained as a minister of the Gospel by the Church of the Nazarene and went on to serve numerous congregations including: Lodi, Mo., Morehouse, Mo., Ricker Memorial near Meta, Mo., Bradleyville, Mo., Vandalia, Mo., and the Church of the Nazarene at Matthews from where he retired. ...
