Irrigation power units stolen in surrounding counties

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. — The Stoddard County Sheriff’s Office alerted area farmers on Wednesday to keep an extra lookout on their farm and irrigation equipment. “We are starting to see irrigation power units being stolen and/or tampered with in surrounding counties as well as one in Stoddard County,” said a post on the Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page. “We are asking you to report any suspicious activities around your properties.”...
