I’m calling about the Speakout that mentally ill people kill people, not guns. First of all, not all mentally ill people kill people. And it is not illegal to buy a gun unless you have been involuntarily committed to a mental facility. The majority of people who are murdered are murdered by someone they know, such as domestic assault. Yes, people do kill people, not the guns. I do agree with you. But don’t put mental ill people in one category. You wouldn’t do that to a diabetic or a cancer or heart patient. Mental illness is an illness, just like a physical illness. It just effects the brain, which is a part of the body which the heart is.
