Gary Hill

LADY LAKE, Fla. - Gary E. Hill, 67, formerly of Bedford, Ind., died Feb. 7, 2004, at his home.

Born March 20, 1936, in Orange County, Ind., son of the late Ira and Marie Hall Hill, he was employed by Wetterau Inc. for 34 years until retiring in 1996, when he moved to Florida. He attended Purdue University and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

On Dec. 21, 1962, at Brownstown, Ind., he married Shirley J. Baker who preceded him in death on Jan. 25, 1997.

He married Peggy Hill who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Tony Hill of Sikeston, Mo.; three daughters, Jean Church of Bedford and Annette Hill Briggs and Cathy Hill of Bloomington, Ind.; one brother, Jim Hill of Bedford; and five grandchildren.

His sister, Virginia Wydick, also preceded him in death.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the University Baptist Church in Bloomington.

Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. Friday until service time at 11 a.m. at the church. The Rev. Kendall Hendrickson will officiate.

Burial will follow at a later date. Beyers Funeral Home of Lady Lake is in charge of arrangements.
