Darrel Day

FRESNO, Calif. - Darrel Day, 68, died Feb. 1, 2004, in Fresno.

Born Nov. 13, 1935, near Malden, Mo., son of the late Norman and Effie Bowman Day, he attended Gideon Elementary School and graduated in 1953 from East Prairie High School. He attended Southeast Missouri State University at Cape Girardeau and Fresno State University. A U.S. Army veteran, Day was a general contractor and owned and operated DW Day Lathing for 10 years before retiring in 1995.

On Oct. 13 1961, he married, Sandra Day who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Ellen Day; and one granddaughter, Briana.
