Moe Brown

CHARLESTON -- Larry L. "Moe" Brown, 45, died Jan. 20, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Oct. 10, 1958, in Charleston, son of James Brown of Charleston and the late Juanita "Scooter" Brown, he attended Charleston High School and was employed at Charleston High School and the Charleston National Guard Armory. He was of the Baptist belief.

In addition to his father, survivors include: his fiancee, Kassandra Kimble of Charleston; one son, Moquandre Brown of Charleston; four daughters, Yuknica Kimble, Ashley Kimble, Javonna Brown and DeShaundria Brown of Charleston; six brothers, Ronnie Brown of Charleston, Terry Brown and Billy Brown of Memphis, Tenn., Richard Brown of Las Vegas, Nev., Kevin Brown of Indianapolis, Ind., and Michael Brown of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Josephine Davis of Memphis and Debra Bibbs of Chicago, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

Services were conducted Saturday at St. Matthews Baptist Church in Charleston. The Rev. Sylvester Davis officiated.

Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.

Williams Funeral Home in Charleston was in charge of the arrangements.
