Hubert Parham

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. - Hubert Parham Sr., 78, died Dec. 23, 2003, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

Born Jan. 6, 1925, in New Madrid County, Mo., he was the son of the late Henry Malachi and Ada Bell Myers Parham. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a retired employee of Magna Copper Mines and attended Gospel Outreach Church.

His wife, Beulah Burnley Parham, survives of the home.

Other survivors include: four sons, Stanley Parham of East Prairie, Mo., Dennis Parham of Missouri, Marty Parham of Sikeston, Mo., and Jimmy Parham of Bremerton, Wash.; one daughter, Sadona Thompson of Sikeston; three stepsons, Danny Burnley of Glasgow and Lewis Burnley and Shane Burnley of Scottsville; four stepdaughters, Nina Wheeler of Glasgow, Pat Thomas of Indianapolis, Ind., and Linda Pardue and Sandra Whitney of Scottsville; one brother, Glen Parham of Pennsylvania; one sister, Betty Parham of Green Castle, Ind.; and several grandchildren, 19 stepgrandchildren and several great-grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.

Services were conducted Dec. 27 at the Goad Funeral Home in Scottsville with Owen Minix officiating.

Burial followed in the Crescent Hill Cemetery in Scottsville.
