Mildred Wlliams

ESSEX - Mildred Williams, 68, died Dec. 19, 2003, at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter.

Born June 26, 1935, in Grayridge, daughter of the late Elmer and Bessie Purcell Sanders, she lived in Essex most of her life.

On June 28, 1953, at Piggott, Ark., she married Billy J. Williams who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Ernie Williams and Danny Williams of Essex; three daughters, Wilma Gordon of Essex, Billie June Wethington of Bloomfield and Paula Williams of Kingsport, Texas; four brothers, Junior Sanders, Roy Sanders, Doyle Sanders and Donnie Sanders of Essex; one sister, Geraldine Duncan of Essex; and 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were conducted at 1 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter with the Rev. Dennis Ward of Essex officiating.

Burial followed in the Essex Cemetery.
