CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Maggie Diane Heisler and Michael James Buckley were married in a 5 p.m. ceremony Oct. 11, 2003, at Grace United Methodist Church. The Rev. Scott Moon officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Marshall and Barbara Heisler of Kelso, and her husband is the son of James and Lynne Buckley of Huntsville, Ala.

Providing music for the occasion were vocalist Jason Thomas and organist/pianist Laura Bollinger. Song selections included "Ode to Joy," "Canon in D," "Bridal March," "Bridal Prayer," "There is Love," "The Lord's Prayer" and the "Wedding March."

The bride was given in marriage by her son, Zachary Owens, and her father.

Matron of honor was Tracy Edwards of Bitburg, Germany, and bridesmaids were Alecia Jordan of Bertrand, Jennifer Holtzhouser of Imperial and Rene Buckley, sister of the bridegroom, of Huntsville.

Maggie Edwards, daughter of Paul and Tracy Edwards of Bitburg, was flower girl.

Stephen Yates of Florissant served the bridegroom as best man. Junior Best Man was Zachary Owens of Cape Girardeau, son of the bride. Groomsmen were Christopher Sanguinett of Chesapeake, Va., Stacey Landers of Chesterfield and Darin Heisler of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride.

Kristina Thomure of Pacific, cousin of the bridegroom, served as candle lighter. Reader for the occasion was Cheryl Klueppel of Cape Girardeau, friend of the couple. Michelle Grimm was guest book attendant.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Dalhousie Downtown, where guests were served by the Grace United Methodist Church Reception Committee. Annie Criddle was the reception coordinator, and the meal was catered by the Pilot House.

Mrs. Buckley received a bachelor's degree from Southeast Missouri State University and a master's degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is the director of social services at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Buckley earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Southeast Missouri State University and works as a credit analyst for US Bank in Sikeston.

Following a honeymoon to Playa de Carmen, Mexico, the new Mr. and Mrs. Buckley are residing in Cape Girardeau.
