Steven Loomes

EAST PRAIRIE -- Steven Page Loomes, 37, died Nov. 15, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born April 25, 1967, in Sikeston, son of the late Robert Loomes and Ruth Pate Loomes Stanley, he was a farmer and attended the New Beginnings Church in East Prairie.

His wife, Trina Brooks, survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Derrick Loomes of Sikeston; one daughter, Alexis Loomes of the home; nine brothers, Robert Loomis of Highland, Ill., Bill Gothard of Norris City, Ill., Alfred Loomis of DeSoto, Dickie Loomis of Sikeston, James Gothard of Braidwood, Ill., Calvin Loomes, Charlie Loomes and Van Loomes of East Prairie and Cliff Pate of the state of Pennsylvania; and three sisters, Lucy Ellis of Braidwood, Irene Marti of Highland and Patsy Beardsley of Harrisburg, Ill.

One son, Byron Page Loomes, and his stepfather, Paul Stanley, also preceded him in death.

Visitation is after 6 p.m. Wednesday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday. Joey Manning will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery in East Prairie.
