MINER -- Two men who robbed Keller's Truck Stop early this morning have been arrested.
According to reports, a man entered Keller's Truck Stop at around 4 a.m., armed with a pistol and wearing a gas mask. He proceeded to take the cash drawer from the business and then fled.
A short time later, officers with the Miner Police Department and Sikeston Department of Public Safety, stopped a car with two occupants at the intersection of Malone Avenue and Selma Street in Sikeston.
Upon a search of the vehicle, a rifle and a loaded pistol were found along with a gas mask and a money drawer with cash.
The two men were arrested and taken to the Miner Police Department. Names of the subjects are being withheld pending the filing of formal charges.
