KENTUCKY LAKE, Ky. -- The Bootheel BassBusters held their second tournament of the year on Kentucky Lake out of KenLake Marina on April 18th. David Fields, fishing his first club tournament, won the event with two fish weighing 6 lbs. 2 oz., and had the tournament big bass of 3lbs. 6 oz. Ty Garrett was second with two fish weighing 4 lbs. 12 oz., and Mike Estes took third with two fish weighing 4 lbs. 2 oz. Chris Wescoat won the "Lucky Drawing."...

KENTUCKY LAKE, Ky. -- The Bootheel BassBusters held their second tournament of the year on Kentucky Lake out of KenLake Marina on April 18th.

David Fields, fishing his first club tournament, won the event with two fish weighing 6 lbs. 2 oz., and had the tournament big bass of 3lbs. 6 oz. Ty Garrett was second with two fish weighing 4 lbs. 12 oz., and Mike Estes took third with two fish weighing 4 lbs. 2 oz. Chris Wescoat won the "Lucky Drawing."

Ty Garrett leads in the Angler-of-the-Year race with 336 points. Leven Cox is in second place with 219 points and Leon Miller is third with 178 points.

The club travels back to Kentucky Lake for a two-day tournament on May 22 and 23.
