Marie Reeves

KELSO - Marie D. Reeves, 80, died at 5:20 p.m. April 27, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born May 25, 1923, in Chaffee, daughter of the late Michael Samuel and Frieda Katherine Koelzer LeGrand, she was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality in Kelso, Knights of Columbus Council 6420 Ladies Auxiliary and VFW Post 6407 Ladies Auxiliary.

On July 3, 1948, at Kelso, she married Dale Vincent Reeves who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, LaDonna and Mick Gosche and Deanna and Blair Brown of Kelso; one brother, Ervin LeGrand of Kelso; one sister, Wilma Stephan of Cape Girardeau; and three grandchildren, Nathan and Allison Brown, Bryan Gosche and Kayle Gosche.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where parish prayers at 6:30 p.m. will be followed by Knights of Columbus prayers and a VFW Ladies Auxiliary service.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Augustine Catholic Church with the Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating.

Burial will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery.
