Lollie Chrisman

DEXTER - Lollie M. Chrisman, 94, died Oct. 4, 2001, at her home.

Born Dec. 31, 1906, in rural Essex, daughter of the late W.R. and Mary Caroline McMullin Taylor, she and her husband had owned the Chrisman LP Gas Company, Chrisman Oil Company and Chrisman Hardware.

On Oct. 30, 1938, in Sikeston, she married Howard Chrisman who preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 1979.

Survivors include: two brothers, Thomas Taylor and Charles Taylor of Essex; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Max Taylor, Howard Taylor and James Taylor; and three sisters, Maurine Taylor, Mary Vinson and Grace Stuart.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. Sunday until service time at 3 p.m. at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Ernie Rogers will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
