Cecelia Bisher
CHAFFEE - Cecelia Elizabeth Bisher, 82, died at 4 a.m. Aug. 23, 2001.
Born Aug. 18, 1919, in Oran to the late George John and Amanda Helen Schwartz Gosche, she was a retired machine sewing operator for Thorngate LTD in Chaffee. A member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church, she was also a member of the Daughters of St. Ambrose.
On Oct. 11, 1941, she married Leon Patrick Bisher who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Pat LeGrand of Benton, Jane Landewee of Scott City and Alice Vandeven of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Monsignor Joseph E. Gosche and Ralph Gosche of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Isabelle Kappler of Sikeston; and 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four grandchildren.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee where parish prayers will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating.
Burial will follow in the St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: David Landewee, Stephen Landewee, Matthew LeGrand, Craig Vandeven, Mark Robinson and Tim Scherer.
