DESOTO - Bonnie Lee Sliger, 63, formerly of East Prairie, died at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 24, 2004, at the Baisch Nursing Home in DeSoto. Born Oct. 16, 1940, in New Madrid, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Edward and Hazel DeClue Bisher. She had lived in DeSoto for the past 10 years where she was a retired union cook with the Teamsters Health and Medical Camp 699 in Pevely...

DESOTO - Bonnie Lee Sliger, 63, formerly of East Prairie, died at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 24, 2004, at the Baisch Nursing Home in DeSoto.

Born Oct. 16, 1940, in New Madrid, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Edward and Hazel DeClue Bisher. She had lived in DeSoto for the past 10 years where she was a retired union cook with the Teamsters Health and Medical Camp 699 in Pevely.

Survivors include: two sons, Edward Allen Sliger of DeSoto and Kenneth Wayne Sliger, address unavailable; one daughter, Allaina Renee Skaggs of DeSoto; one half brother, Lester M. McClanahan of Festus; one half sister, Margie Lashley of Leadwood; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Copeland Funeral Home in Park Hills.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery with Rob Kespelher officiating.

Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of local arrangements.
