WAPPAPELLO - Jeffrey Ray Martin, 14, died Aug. 24, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, of injuries sustained in a pedestrian/automobile accident which occurred Monday in Wappapello.
Born Feb. 23, 1990, in Rockford, Ill., son of Jackie Terrell and Kurt Steiner of Wappapello, he was a freshman at Puxico High School and member of Boy Scout Troop 416 in Wappapello.
Survivors in addition to his parents include: one sister, Kelsey Steiner of Wappapello; his grandparents, Lon and Veniche McGrew and Don and Anita Steiner of Rockford and Bill and Cindy Terrell of Wappapello; his great-grandparents, Cliff and Ruby Presson of Wappapello; special friends, Brandon Bloom and Mikki Bloom of Wappapello; and aunts and uncles, including Billy Terrell of Rockford.
Visitation is from 12:30 p.m. Friday until service time at 2 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. The Rev. Buzz Brown of Puxico will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Little Brushy Cemetery at Wappapello.
