BENTON - Ken Coffey, circuit clerk of Scott County, was elected as the Scott County Republican Committee's representative to a workshop scheduled Saturday in Jefferson City. The Missouri State Committee is sponsoring a workshop in an effort to reach people at the grassroots level.
BENTON - Some 1,259 residents in the western part of Scott County have been moved and they didn't notice a thing. No moving vans backed up to their houses to load furniture. The move was entirely on paper, courtesy of the Scott County Commission. Richland township residents will comprise a new township created to balance population figures between the First District and Second District of the County Commission.
