Theda Hutson
CHARLESTON - Theda Welch Farrell Hutson, 70, died at 7 a.m. Oct. 14, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Sept. 7, 1931, at Wyatt, daughter of the late Victor and Lucille Welch, she had lived most of her life in Charleston where she was a member of the Southside Baptist Church and had been employed by the Brown Shoe Company until her retirement in 1988.
On Sept. 3, 1949, she married Cleve E. Farrell who preceded her in death Sept. 28, 1995.
On April 21, 1997, she married Elmer Hutson who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Cathy Alsup of Bertrand and Diane Farrell of Charleston; two brothers, Jim Welch of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mickey Welch of Arnold; two sisters, Ann Jackson of Charleston and Vicki Sue Miller of Arnold; and 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Kenny Farrell; one grandson, Ronnie Drury; and one great-granddaughter.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Revs. Ed Carter, pastor of Southside Baptist Church, and Dale Huff of Benton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Rocky Walker, Leroy Walker, Rocky Walker II, Jim Abner, Jesse Perry and Fred Drury.
