Marjorie Jaeger

KENNEDALE, Texas - Marjorie R. Rogers Jaeger, 56, formerly of Morehouse, Mo., died Sept. 29, 2001, at Pecan Manor Health Care in Kennedale.

Born Aug. 1, 1945, in Orland, Calif., to Juanita Adkins Rogers of West Allis, Wis., and the late Rollie R. Rogers, she grew up in Morehouse, attended Morehouse Schools and graduated in the Class of 1963. She attended the School of the Ozarks at Point Lookout and the University of Missouri-Columbia.

She completed her bachelor of arts degree at Arlington Baptist College then attended the University of Texas at Arlington, completing her master's degree in library science at North Texas University at Denton. While attending college she worked as a substitute teacher. She then worked as a librarian at Arlington Baptist College in Arlington until 1988 when ill-health forced her retirement.

In 1971, she married James Jaeger who survives of the home.

In addition to her mother and husband she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Bethany and Chase Rankin of Arlington; one brother, Michael Rogers of Wauwatosa, Wis.; and one granddaughter, Dakota Rankin of Arlington.

She was preceded in death by one son, Nathan Jaeger.

Memorial services were conducted Oct. 1 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Arlington with the Rev. Jerry Phillips officiating.
