EAST PRAIRIE - Melton David Dick, 59, died at 5:40 p.m. May 4, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born July 22, 1944, in Dorena, son of Velma Marie Hawkins Dick of East Prairie and the late Joe Marion Dick, he was a farmer and U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors in addition to his mother include: one daughter, Kelli Gobel of Savoy, Texas; one brother, Larry Dick of East Prairie; two sisters, Sheila LaPlante of East Prairie and Marla Sisk of Charleston; and one half sister, Wanda Pentland of St. Louis.
Visitation begins at 6 p.m. Friday at Shelby Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday. Martin Lucas will officiate.
Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
