The attorney general's office in Florida is on the hunt for a suspicious person and they have vowed to find the culprit and bring charges at the appropriate time. This is an interesting case of unmasking a fraud. Millions of dollars are on the line which makes the mystery even more tantalizing.

An inspector for the top legal post in Florida has tracked down 39-year-old Youree Harris of west Broward County and wants to question her. But first they have ordered Harris to provide a birth certificate and some documentation to prove she is who she says she is. That's where this case gets interesting. Youree Harris apparently has a number of aliases. Her attorney however has agreed to tell police which alias is the correct one. He acknowledges that indeed one of the aliases is the real Youree Harris.

You may know Harris by her more recognizable name - Miss Cleo of the psychic claims fame. Soon it's likely the real story will come to the surface.

Three states including Missouri have already brought legal actions against Miss Cleo and her phony claims. But since the psychic company is based in Florida that state is pulling out all of the stops to shutdown the fraudulent operation.

Miss Cleo's company - known for their non-stop, late night infomercials - is already operating under court orders in 1998, 1999 and 2001 that mandate changes in their operation. Their claims are phony and their methods are highly questionable. This last action may be the final straw.

The scheme charges "customers" $4.99 per minute to talk with a psychic counselor who promises answers to all questions.

But gullible consumers have complained about outrageous phone bills for their calls. That has prompted suits in a handful of states.

Miss Cleo, aka Youree Harris, will soon get her day in court. And when she does her house of cards will surely come tumbling down. But then again I'm sure she already knows that since she has these magical powers of a Jamaican shaman. And if you believe that, I've got some hot property to sell you!
