BERTRAND - Geri Moody Hulshof, 69, a resident of rural Bertrand, died at 10:45 p.m. March 29, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Born Jan. 25, 1935, in Bragg City, daughter of the late Ed McKinley and Opal Mae Hutson Moody, she lived in Mississippi County since 1957. BERTRAND - Geri Moody Hulshof, 69, a resident of rural Bertrand, died at 10:45 p.m. March 29, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Jan. 25, 1935, in Bragg City, daughter of the late Ed McKinley and Opal Mae Hutson Moody, she lived in Mississippi County since 1957. A member of St. Henry Catholic Church and the Charleston Country Club, she had worked as a receptionist for Dr. R.L. Frazier.

On July 7, 1956, she married Paul Everett Hulshof, who preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 2002.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, U.S. Rep. Kenny and Renee Hulshof of Columbia; two granddaughters, Casey Elizabeth Hulshof and Hanna McKinley Hulshof of Columbia; two brothers, Charles Moody of Memphis, Tenn., and Dennis Moody of Portageville; and two sisters, Juanita Rone of San Antonio, Texas, and Etha Rae Downing of Jacksonville, Fla.

One brother, Ed McKinley Moody Jr., also preceded her in death.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday until time for a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Family and friends will join for a celebration of the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Henry Catholic Church in Charleston.

Private interment rites will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Caruthersville.
