Betty Dunning

DEXTER -- Betty Sue Dunning, 69, died Aug. 23, 2004, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Born July 22, 1935, at Malden, daughter of the late Edward and Virgie Griffin McMillion, she was a former seamstress for International Hat Co. and attended the First Pentecostal Church in Dexter.

On Dec. 8, 1951, at Pocahontas, Ark., she married Arthur W. Dunning who preceded her in death on March 3, 2004.

Survivors include: one daughter, Sandi Walker of Dexter; one sister, Fern Douglas of Puxico; two grandchildren, Kyle Walker of Dexter and Alison Walker of Waynesboro, Va.; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield with the Rev. Robert Bentley officiating.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
