James Richardson
CHESTERFIELD - James Walter Richardson, 69, died at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 27, 2001, at Delmar Gardens West.
Born June 19, 1931, in Dexter, son of Eliza Luster Lane of Oran and the late C.B. Richardson, he was a maintenance worker for the Spann Building and Maintenance Company in St. Louis before retiring and member of the New Home Baptist Church at Oran.
Survivors in addition to his mother include: three brothers, Albert Richardson of Wright, Johnnie Lane of St. Louis and Willie Lane of Sikeston; and three sisters, Ruby Eskridge of Chicago, Ill., Jewell Weakley of Harvey, Ill., and Betty Johnson of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Robert Smithey, officiating.
Burial will follow in the New Morning Star Cemetery at Haywood City.
Pallbearers will be: Ronald Johnson, Lee Yaughn, Dantwan Johnson and Joseph Johnson.
