NEW HAMBURG -- A Scott County man sustained fatal injuries in a one-vehicle accident late Wednesday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 10 p.m. on Scott County Road 227, one mile south of New Hamburg, an accident occurred as southbound motorist Anthony J. Glueck, 49, of Chaffee lost control of his vehicle, skidded off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.
Glueck was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:12 p.m. by Scott County Coroner Scott Amick and was taken to Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
