Jackie Mayberry

BLOOMFIELD - Dora "Jackie" Mayberry, 88, died Aug. 18, 2004, at the Beverly Healthcare Center in Bloomfield.

Born May 20, 1916, in Stoddard County, daughter of the late John Willie and Rhoda Steward Moore, she was a lifelong resident of Stoddard County and was of the General Baptist belief.

Her husband, Lee Carol Mayberry, preceded her in death in 1992.

She is survived by one sister, Mae Mayberry of Bloomfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Also preceding her in death were one brother, Fred Moore; and two sisters, Dorthy Metz and Mildred Robertson.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Mike Watkins of Dexter will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield.
