Betty McGregor
SCOTT CITY - Betty R. McGregor, 76, formerly of Sikeston, died Aug. 20, 2004 at the Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau. Born Jan. 30, 1928, in Sikeston, she was the daughter of the late James and Emma Arnold Hodges.
She was married to W.E. "Gene" McGregor who preceded her in death on Jan. 4, 1993.
Survivors include: two sons, Richard McGregor of Scott City and John McGregor of Blue Springs; two brothers, Bill Hodges of Kelso and James "Bud" Hodges of East Prairie; one sister, Gertrude Wilkinson of Houston, Texas; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Rick Lasley, pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church of Sikeston, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Sikeston City Cemetery.
